Survivors include his wife Wanda Reed of Grandview, his mother Masel Godsey Reed of Grandview, his children Teressa (Mike) McKinney of Knoxville, Scott (Mary) Reed, Eric (April) Reed and Jason (Susan) Reed all of Spring City, his brother s Johnny Reed of Grandview and Allen Reed of Hamilton, TX, his sisters Jane Fugate of Evensville, Bonnie Fisher of Jonesboro, TX, Jewell Beasley, Stella Harrison, Kathy Cawood and Mary Jackson all of Spring City, his grandchildren Cameron Reed, Alivia Massie, Lily Reed, Dillon Reed, Holli McKinney, Chase Reed, Madalyn McKinney, Jaxon Reed, Ashley Reed and Abi Germany and his great grandchildren Zoey Massie and Maverick Reed.Ī graveside service will be held on Wednes day, Apat 3:00 pm at the Reed’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Reed and his brother Benton Reed. Avery attended Ree d’ s Chapel Church of God in Grandview. He enjoyed fishing, tending to his grapevines, squirrel hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Avery moved to Ohio and worked for Rigid Tool and then moved back to Tennessee to work for La-Z-Boy Corporation until his retirement. He was a graduate of Spring City High School “Class of 1962”.
